Our Journey

Beginning

A Grandmother's Love - It's hard to start from scratch. A foreign country. An unfamiliar language. A new life. But even in the most difficult times, there is something that warms the heart—a grandmother's love for her grandchildren. This connection between generations stays with us for life.

The Question

What If We Lose This? - But what if this connection is lost? What if a granddaughter cannot understand her grandmother because language divides them? This question became the starting point for creating our Russian language school—to restore the warmth of communication and preserve the thread connecting generations.

2002

Opening Our Doors - Russian Language & Arts Charlotte opened its doors to its first students. It was just a few children, but they became the beginning of our story—a story of preserving heritage and building bridges between families.

2005

First Graduation - We held our first graduation—a joyful, touching day that showed our work was needed, that it was alive. Today we look back with gratitude and see how a small idea has turned into a large family.

2012

Pursuing Excellence - The school began pursuing official accreditation so our students could receive examination preparation and officially confirm their knowledge of Russian. Our teachers began special training to teach courses for which students could earn academic credits, recognized by both high schools and colleges.

2014

Accreditation Breakthrough - Two years later, in 2014, the school received college accreditation—a real breakthrough. New opportunities allowed us to expand educational programs, raise the level of teaching, and accept even more students for whom learning Russian became not only a cultural but also an academic achievement.

Our Legacy

500+ Stories - Over the years, hundreds of students have studied with us—and over 500 graduates proudly carry their knowledge, language, and culture forward. Each student is a separate story, a distinct journey that unites families and generations.

Today

What We Offer - Today, we offer courses for adults and children learning Russian as a foreign language, plus enrichment classes including Ukrainian decorative arts, crafts, Macrame, chess, and mathematics. We create an atmosphere where learning becomes joy, and language carries the heart home.

Join Us

Become Part of Our Story - We invite you to become part of our story. In our Russian language school, we don't just teach words—we teach understanding, feeling, and remembering. Russian language is not just a means of communication. It is memory. It is family. It is love that we pass on.
